You can use PowerResins resins with all Anycubic 3D Printers such as the Photon, Photon S, or Photon Mono series. Please find below the recommended castable resins for jewelry lost wax casting. Beside jewelry castable resins, you may also use dental resins with Anycubic Photon 3d printers.

Reach best jewelry printing with PowerCast resins

With all Anycubic 3D Printers, you can use PowerCast Burn, Wax or Zero resins. We recommend Burn for light-weighted jewelry such as filigree or light surface jewelry, while Wax resin is preferable for surface or heavier jewelry as it provides smooth surfaces prints. Burn or Wax resins have a little shrinkage after washing with alcohol, while PowerCast Zero resin has very low shrinkage.
Important Note: you don't need any UV post-curing with our castable resins.

PowerCast Resin Casting Samples

Our castable resins are ash-free resins and very easy to cast. You can use most investment powders such as Optima Prestige, GoldStar or Omnicast for gold or silver casting. You may use your own standard burnout like if you were casting wax or try our recommended burnouts. Below you can see some raw unpolished casting of gold (14k, 18k, 21k) or silver.

Anycubic Photon Settings with PowerCast Burn or Zero resin

It is easy to setup the parameters for any of our PowerCast resins. Essentially, you need to adjust the exposure time for the bottom layers and the normal layers. Below we share the settings for Anycubic Photon using PowerCast Burn at 35 micron Z layer. You may use the same settings for PowerCast Zero resin. The recommended Normal exposure time (s) is 14 seconds. If you want to print using the monochrome LCD printers such as Anycubic Mono series, the exposure time will be reduced as the light transmission is higher.

Anycubic Photon Settings with PowerCast Wax resin

If you wish to use PowerCast Wax at 35 micron Z layer, you may simply change the Normal exposure time (s) to a value of 8 seconds. PowerCast Wax is a faster curing resin than PowerCast Burn and you may want to adjust the curing time according to the type of jewelry or product you wish to print.
